WSU Panopto Instance | May 30th - June 6th, 2024 | Unexpected Issues | Video playback statistics for the minutes delivered are not recorded if the browser tab loses focus of the window containing the viewer (i.e. if a user switches tabs or rearranges windows in a way that hides the browser window containing the viewer). Even if the viewer is only hidden for a brief period of time, playback statistics will no longer be recorded for that user’s view of the video unless the video is refreshed by reloading the page. Please note that a view will still be recorded in this scenario, but the playback minutes are not. Unfortunately, mitigation is unavailable for this issue and affected viewing data will be lost. |

New Quizzes Outcomes service | June 30, 2020<br />10-10:30 p.m. PDT | Database maintenance | Canvas support is performing database maintenance on the Outcomes service for New Quizzes on June 30, beginning at 10:00 PM PDT. The maintenance will last no longer than 30 minutes, so full functionality will be restored by 10:30 pm PDT. Users will have access to Canvas during this maintenance. However, instructors will be unable to interact with outcomes within New Quizzes for approximately 3-5 minutes at some point during this maintenance process, and should plan work needs accordingly. Thank you for your patience as the team works to continue the best user experience possible with timely maintenance. |
