Enrolled WSU students and active WSU employees get a free subscription to Office 365 through their WSU email account. The software is available for Mac and Windows computers. (Chromebooks use the Android version of Office and have free access by default without a subscription.)
For Students: The subscription works while you are enrolled in classes and will expire after you graduate or leave the university. The subscription starts the first day of class on the semester you start as a WSU student. (You do get your WSU email account early, but the full software subscription starts your first semester.)
For Employees: The subscription works as long as you are an active WSU employee, your employment appointment has started, and you activated your WSU email account. Your subscription expires once you are no longer an active WSU employee.
Our base subscription of Office 365 includes Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, Access (Windows only), and Microsoft OneDrive.
*Active while enrolled as a student or as an active employee at WSU. Subscription expires upon inactive status.
*MS Access only available as part of Office 365 on Windows PCs.
