Issue:
As administrative support within a course, how do I access the grade roster within myWSU? (SR 59 Role required)
Solution:
To access the grade roster, follow the steps below:
1. Login to my.wsu.edu.
2. Select the compass in the top right, then "Main Menu".
3. Navigate to Main Menu - Curriculum Management - Grading - Grade Roster.
4. Using the search criteria provided, insert the details on the course in question and click "Search".
5. Select the appropriate class from the search results
6. On the results page, select the "Grade Roster" tab.
7. Note that there may be multiple pages within this tab (to reflect mid terms or final grades). Ensure you are viewing the correct page.
8. Student grades are shown on this page.
9. If the grade roster is not yet generated, the below message will display:
10. If the Grade Roster is created, users may manually enter grades in the "Roster Grade" column, then click save. Alternatively, users may upload a CSV file utilizing the "Upload Grades" button.
The format of the file should have the EMPLID in column A, and grade in column B. For example:
099999999 | A |
099999998 | B+ |
The grade upload feature will not override any previously entered grades. When formatting the CSV file, be sure to format your EMPLID to include a leading 0 (for example "099999999" not "99999999).
