Issue:

User would purchase SMS credits for their Qualtrics account.

Solution:

  1. Submit a request to the Crimson Service Desk, specifying the number of SMS Credits to be purchased. Optionally, and depending on how the payment will be processed, the user may provide an email address to which Qualtrics will send a payment link.
  2. The ticket should be routed to the Qualtrics Brand Admin (currently Gary Saunders) or the Qualtrics Support Team (currently includes Sam Carpenter, Anden Lewis, Krystal Repp, and Wendy Woods).
  3. The Qualtrics Brand Admin or a member of the Qualtrics Support Team will request an invoice via an email to the WSU Account Manager (currently amanning@qualtrics.com).
  4. The Qualtrics Brand Admin or a member of the Qualtrics Support Team will forward the invoice along to the customer, along with a payment link.

Text messages are provided by Qualtrics in buckets of 50,000 credits for $500 each


To be able to use SMS credits, this feature must first be enabled at the Division level. When enabling the credits at the Division level, you can also set a limit on the number of allowed SMS message credits.

Once enabled at the Division level, you can go into the User’s settings and see that SMS is now enabled. To see a user’s credits, go to Admin > Users > click the username, Survey Platform. It will display at the bottom of the “Account Permissions” box, but ONLY if SMS functionality is enabled for the user.

The limits can be placed at the Division level or at the User level.
