Okta Verify Mobile App

1. Under Extra Verification - Okta Verify Mobile App, click on the Setup icon
2. On the Setup Okta Verify screen, click the device type icon
3. Click Next
   
   
   
   
   
   Follow instruction to Install the Okta Verify mobile App for your device
   
4. Launch the Okta Verify application and select "Add Account" (you may be asked to allow Okta access to your camera for QR scanning)
5. Scan the QR code on the screen which will configure the application
   
6. Click Done to complete process
7. You will then be prompted to sign into Okta to complete the "Verify" factor
   
8. You will be prompted to verify a factor - You can choose the factor in the pop-up menu attached to the right side of the circle in the window
   
9. During this process you will have received emails confirming the setup
   
   

Google Authenticator Mobile App

1. Under Extra Verification – Google Authenticator Mobile App, click on the Setup icon
2. On the Setup Google Authenticator screen, click the device type icon
   
   
   Install the Google Authenticator App
3. On your mobile device, open the app store
   
   • On an iOS device open the Apple App Store
   • On an Android device open the Google Play Store
4. Search for and install Google Authenticator.
   
   
   
5. Open the Google Authenticator app.
   
   
6. Tap Scan a barcode. You might need to install the Barcode Scanner app; follow the prompts and then re-tap Scan a barcode.
7. Hold your device up to the computer screen and scan the barcode.
8. Click Next
   
   Complete the Okta Login
   
9. Type the Google Authenticator code appearing on your mobile device, into the Setup Google Authenticator screen on your computer and click Verify.

Text Message Code

1. Under Extra Verification – Text Message Code, click on the Setup icon
2. On the SMS screen, type your phone number
   
   
3. Click on Send Code
   
   Code Verification
4. Type the SMS code received to your mobile device, into the Receive a code via SMS to authenticate screen on your computer and click Verify.
   
   

Voice Call

1. Under Extra Verification – Voice Call, click on the Setup icon
2. Enter your phone number and click Call
   
   
3. Answer the call for the number that you provided above
4. Enter the code that is given
5. Click Verify

MFA Enrollment using Security Key

From your account screen select Extra Verification

NOTE: This factor is only compatible with Chrome and Firefox (Mozilla) with installed extension. IE and Safari users will not be able to use Security key fobCurrently compatible web browser extensions include Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari.

Next, click the Setup button next to the "Security Key" Section

Click "Register"

When you see the prompt to do so, insert your security key fob into the USB port of your computer and press the button on the security key fob

You will then get a confirmation box on the screen
