WSU ResNet Guest provides internet access for non-affiliated users in the Residence Halls. You do not need to be affiliated with WSU, but you must have an active email account.
Note: WSU Guest Wireless works across the Pullman campus and uses a similar registration process.
Instructions
In the residence halls, connect your device to the Wi-Fi network named WSU ResNet Guest.
Depending on your device, one of the following may occur:
a. Your device may automatically open a web browser and display the registration page.
b. Your device may create a notification prompting you to continue to the registration page.
c. You may need to manually open a web browser to be redirected to the registration page.
On the registration page:
a. Enter your name and email address.
b. Accept the terms and conditions.
The page will display your email and a 6-digit Guest Password.
a. Remember this password — it is required for future logins after the network expires.
b. The password will also be emailed to the address you provided.
By default, your device will remain connected to WSU ResNet Guest for 180 days.
a. After three days, you will be required to reauthenticate.
b. Note: The 180-day period may be adjusted without notice.
To reauthenticate after the allotted time:
a. Connect to the network as in Step 2.
b. Click I have an account already.
c. Enter your email and 6-digit Guest Password.
Key Points:
WSU ResNet Guest is only available in Residence Halls.
The process is similar to WSU Guest Wireless on campus.
Keep your 6-digit password for future logins.
