Can't add to esg.notices AD groups?

If you do not have the ability to add users to the esg.notices groups, request help from the Crimson Service Desk and have them add the users to the appropriate groups for you.


Determine which groups the user will need access to from the following:

  • University Receivables
  • WSU Pullman - Internal Communication Team
  • Financial Aid
  • Business Services
  • Business Affairs
  • Cougar Card Center
  • Student Residence Life
  • Financial Services
  • Cougar Health Services
  • Student Dining
  • Student Housing

Load Active Directory Users and Computers while on the WSU VPN.

Click the "Search" button towards the top of the menu

Choose Find: Users, Contacts, and Groups In: ad.wsu.edu and search for "esg.notices."  This should return all of the groups related to Notices administrator access.

Right-Click the appropriate group and choose Properties.

From there select the Members tab and click "Add" to assign a given NID to the group.
