Note: The MAC address is a unique hardware identifier for your device. Wired and wireless MAC addresses are usually different.

Smart TVs

Insignia

  1. Open the Settings menu (or press Menu).

  2. Navigate to Network, then press Enter.

  3. Select Wired or Wireless depending on which MAC address you need.

  4. The MAC address is displayed as Ethernet Address or Wired MAC Address.

Samsung

  1. Press Menu on the remote.

  2. Navigate to Network, then press Enter.

  3. Select Network Settings, then press Enter.

  4. Choose Wired or Wireless, then press Enter.

  5. Select Network Test, then press Enter.

  6. The MAC address appears as Ethernet Address or Wired MAC Address at the top of the screen.

Sharp

  1. Press Menu on the remote.

  2. Navigate to Initial Setup, then press Enter.

  3. Select Internet Setup, then press Enter.

  4. Choose Network Setup, then press Enter.

  5. Select Connection Type, then press Enter.

  6. Highlight Wired or Wireless, then press Enter.

  7. Select IP Setup. The MAC address appears at the bottom of the page.

Sony

  1. Press Home on the remote.

  2. Navigate to Settings, then press Enter.

  3. Go to Network Setup, then press Enter.

  4. Select Wired or Wireless Setup, then press Enter.

  5. Click Network Setup – Status. The MAC address is displayed on the screen.

Vizio

  1. Press Menu on the remote.

  2. Highlight Network, then press OK.

  3. Select Manual Setup, then press OK.

  4. The IP Settings menu appears. The MAC address is displayed at the bottom of the menu.

Gaming Devices

Xbox One

  1. Go to SettingsNetworkAdvanced Settings.

  2. The MAC address is displayed.

Xbox 360

  1. Open System SettingsNetwork SettingsConfigure Network.

  2. Select Advanced Settings.

  3. The MAC address is shown in the bottom-left corner.

Original Xbox (wired only)

  1. Turn on the system without a disc in the tray.

  2. Unplug the network cable.

  3. Navigate to Xbox LiveSettingsNetwork Settings.

  4. The MAC address appears in the lower-right corner as MAC=.

PlayStation 4

  1. From the XMB menu, go to SettingsNetworkView Connection Status.

  2. The MAC address is displayed.

PlayStation 3

  1. Go to System SettingsSystem Information.

  2. The MAC address is displayed.

PlayStation 2 (wired only)

  1. Load the Network Adaptor Startup Disc.

  2. Select ISP SetupAgreeLocal Area Network.

  3. Choose Automatic Configuration, then Advanced.

  4. The MAC address appears at the bottom of the list.

Wii U

  1. Go to System SettingsInternetView MAC Address.

  2. The MAC address is displayed.

Nintendo Wii

  1. From the Wii channel menu, select WiiWii Settings → right arrow → InternetConsole Information.

  2. The MAC address is displayed. If a LAN adapter is installed, two addresses may appear.

Nintendo Switch

  1. From the Home Menu, select System SettingsInternet.

  2. The MAC address appears under System MAC Address.

Streaming Devices

Roku 3

  1. Locate the MAC address on the side or bottom of the device, or on the original box.

  2. Alternatively, from the Roku home screen:

    • Go to SettingsNetwork → select Wired or Wireless.

    • The MAC address appears as Ethernet Address or Wired MAC Address.

Apple TV

  1. Go to SettingsGeneralAbout.

  2. Select Get Ethernet ID or Get Wireless ID.

  3. The MAC address is displayed.

Amazon Fire TV

  1. Go to Home ScreenSettingsSystemAboutNetwork.

  2. The MAC address is displayed.
