Issue:
Where to find an existing third-party/Friend ID(FID) Authorization Code in myWSU as a student

Solution: Access to student information is controlled by the student. In order for non-WSU personnel to request a password reset, MFA reset, or the modification of any other MyWSU Resources they will need to have an authorization code created by the student when the third-party account is made. The Student sharing their information must use their WSU Network ID and password to log on to their MyWSU student portal and complete the steps described below:

1. Go to my.wsu.edu and sign in with your Network ID and password.

2. On the Student Homepage, click the Profile tile.

3. On the left, click Third Party Access

4. Under the section for WSU Students click Share My Information

5. On the next page click Review button underneath of Existing Third Party Access.

If this button does not exist then third-party access has not yet been set up, so you should follow the directions here: https://confluence.esg.wsu.edu/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=77827567

On the next page, your authorization code can be found under Access to Records by Telephone, Email, or In-Person

This authorization code will be what you will be giving to Crimson Service Desk Personnel, so that they can confirm authorization on the account.
