Issue:

In order to print using SDC resources, you must have money on your VCEA Papercut account.  This article describes how to add money to that account.

Important

printserver.vcea.wsu.edu only accepts connections from WSU "on-campus equivalent" networks. This means that in order to connect, you must be in one of the following situations:

  1. You must be on-campus
  2. You must be connected to the WSU SSL VPN

If you don't meet at least one of those conditions, printserver.vcea.wsu.edu will not respond to your connection, and it will appear that the website is not working.

For help setting up the WSU SSL VPN, see the WSU KB article about setting up Global Protect VPN

How To:

  1. From a device connected to the WSU network, go to https://printserver.vcea.wsu.edu/.  Log in with your WSU Network ID.  Same one that you use to log into MyWSU.

2. On the left-hand menu, click Add Print Funds from Cougar CASH

3. On this screen you will see how much you currently have in your print account and how much Cougar CASH you have.  If you don’t have enough to print, you will need to add more Cougar CASH before continuing.  Select the amount of Cougar CASH you wish to your account.  If you want to do, for example, $55, you will have two transactions.  One for $50 and another for $5.

Press the Add value button and the funds will be available immediately to print.  There is no confirmation confirming that you wish to proceed with the transfer.

4. Print as you normally would.  SDC - Printing 101
